Once-atheist Albania wants pope to visit

country that called itself the "world's first atheist state" while under
communist rule. Albanian Premier Aleksander Meksi met Friday with the
Vatican's secretary of state, Cardinal Angelo Sodano, to discuss the Roman
Catholic Church's attempts to reorganize in Albania, papal spokesman
Joaquin Navarro said.
