yeah he wrote the book.  I remember seeing an interview with Murrey when
the Bell Curve came out.  He said that when he wrote that book he proposed
(I haven't read the book so I dont know for sure) that state run
orphanages(sp?) should be brought back.  He gloated over the idea that
the idea is now considered 'in the mainstream' nowadays and went on to say
that he originally mentioned the idea only to upset Liberals and not to be
taken too seriously.

Appearantly, even Murrey is amazed at how far Right this country has gone.
