   WASHINGTON  (AP)  -- In a story on a new conservative lobbying
group launching a nationwide campaign to win a pardon for  former
White  House  aide Oliver North, The Associated Press erroneously
described the ownership of The Washington Times.  Larry Chandler,
a spokesman for The Washington Times, said the newspaper is owned
by investors who are members or officials of the Rev.  Sun  Myung
Moon's  Unification  Church,  but  Moon  himself has no financial
interest in it.
