From: Rick Francis
Subject: Film Noir list--long
Lines: 557
As promised, I'm posting an on-going list of *films noirs*.
A bibliography is in the works too, which includes
books with MUCH longer lists of films...
---------------------------
First draft version of a list of _films noirs_, important or
influential according to admittedly subjective criteria.
Compiled by Rick Francis and Seth Hurwitz.
Send suggestions to Rick Francis at
C47805NF@WUVMD.
Films are listed chronologically, then divided into a
primary and secondary categories, with (sometimes) distributor
info and price. Unmarked numbers are item and
ordering numbers for Baker & Taylor, a major jobber for
academic libraries, and the prices are those found in 1992
catalogs.
