All-Music Guide Biography
This British techno-pop group features Anne Dudley, Gary Lanagan, and
J. J. Jeczoli. ~ Bil Carpenter
Anne Dudley, Gary Lanagan, and J. J. Jeczalik were members of
producer Trevor Horn's in-house studio band in the early 80s before
they formed Art of Noise, a techno-pop group whose music was an
amalgam of studio gimmickry, tape splicing, and synthesized beats.
After earning a cult following in the latter half of the 80s (as well
as scoring two Top 40 hits) the Art of Noise broke up in 1990. ~
