In Robert Sherman We Trust?
Atheistic activist Robert Sherman raised his Godless voice again a few
days ago in his continued attempts to make this country more Godless. His
proposal is to file a federal lawsuit in order to challenge the
constitutionality of the references to God found on American currency. Such
references to God as in "In God We Trust" is in violation of the
Constitution's separation between Church and State, claims Sherman.
Following in the footsteps of history's great atheists like
Hiranyakashipu, Ravana, Kamsa and Putana, Sherman is a proud atheist and he
sometimes wears a hat that says so. To him, "In God We Trust" is simply
"religious grafitti". Sherman considers his activities befitting that of a
true American patriot.
