MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. (UPI) _ A Hare Krishna spokesman says there is
no connection between an eviction dispute and the burning of a mobile
home.
The mobile home, owned by Mary Horvath, caught fire and burned
Sunday morning.
Detective Sergeant Tom Westfall of the Marshall County Sheriff's
Department said the fire may have been arson.
Westfall said Horvath and the Krishnas were fighting over ownership
of the property and the Krishnas wanted to evict the woman.
Krishna legal aide Tulsi Das said Horvath was not a member of the
sect's New Vrindaban community. The Krishnas did file eviction
proceedings against Horvath but the fire and the dispute are not
connected, he said.
