Okay.  So I need a keeper.  You know how things go: there's something
you know quite well, and you just lose it somehow.  A reader reminded
me that it was NOAH Webster, not DANIEL Webster who was the
lexicographer.   This is an unqualifed, abject apology to all for my
dumb error.

But how come only one of you noticed it.....?

And,  though WGBH-TV told me by phone that the "Secrets of the
Psychics" NOVA show was being repeated Tuesday night, the TV  Guide
lists another show!  Sorry, but I just worked with the information I
had at hand....  I thought I could depend on it...

Did'ja ever have one of those days?
