³HAMBURG (JULY 26) DPA - The puzzle of the mysterious crop   ³
³circles which appeared recently in the north German state of³
³Schleswig Holstein was solved Friday when bored law students³
³from the town of Kiel admitted they did it.                 ³

³Their confession ended speculation that the circles, with a ³
³diameter of around 70 metres, found in fields in the village³
³of Felm, might have been caused by extra terrestrials.      ³
³                                                            ³
³The group showed a local television station how they had    ³
³made the circles in less than an hour by using a wooden beam³
³as a roller to flatten the corn crops into circles. A       ³
³washing line served to mark off each circle.                ³
³                                                            ³
³The students, looking for something to do while on holiday, ³
³got into the fields unnoticed on stilts which left no       ³
³traces.                                                     ³
