                  LIBERTARIAN PARTY OF DALLAS COUNTY

The recent actions of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firears
deserve the censure of all Aericans.

While our country is shocked by the bobing of the World Trade Center,
an even deadlier terrorist attack has taken place in the Aerican
heartland.  But there is no doubt as to the identity of the responsible
organization: it is a rogue agency of our own governent.

While Texans celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Sa
Houston, and the 157th anniversary of the revolution which created the
Republic of Texas, their lives and freedos are being threatened as
never before by doestic terroris financed by their own tax dollars.

The BATF assault on the church copound near Waco was a grotesque
violation of the 1st, 2nd and 4th Aendents to the Constitution.  Such
attacks on religious freedo, firears ownership, and the right of
private citizens to be secure in their persons, hoes, and possessions
are reiniscent of the high-handed actions of British troops at
Lexington and Concord.

We deand that all those involved in planning and carrying out this
deadly assault be put on trial for preeditated urder.

We urge President Clinton to safeguard our liberties and help reduce
the deficit by proposing to Congress the iediate abolition of the
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firears.

        PEACE ARCH TO PROTEST B.A.T.F TACTICS THURSDAY
        ===============================================

Concerned citizens are invited to gather at noon Thursday, arch 4, at
the Earle Cabell Federal Building at 1111 Coerce in downtown Dallas,
to protest the terrorist tactics of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and
Firears in the "Branch Davidian" cult case.  Participants are urged to
ake signs to carry at the event.  Soe archers will be distributing
aterial fro the International Society for Individual Liberty.
