I WAS VERY NERVOUS, AND WENT WITH AN OLDER COUSIN (ALSO A UNL STUDENT) TO PICK UP SOME LAST MINUTE ITEMS FOR SCHOOL AND MY DORMITORY. WHILE SHOPPING AT SHOPKO, SHE URGED ME TO SHOPLIFT A PAIR OF SUNGLASSES FOR HER AND I DID. THE MERCHANDISE TOTAL WAS $30 AND THIS IS VERY UNCHARACTERISTIC OF ME. I BELIEVE I WAS INFLUENCED BY HER SUPERIORITY IN BOTH AGE AND SCHOOL. MANY PEOPLE WERE SURPRISED BY THIS OCCURENCE, AS IT IS NOT TYPICAL OF MY BEHAVIOR.
