However of note, Mr. Carreras was not the financial advisor for this customer’s account. Instead, there was a different advisor who was not named in the claim that was the customer’s financial advisor on the application of the managed account. Mr. Carreras did not assist the customer in completing paperwork to open the managed account nor did Mr. Carreras earn a fee or commission on the transactions within the customer’s account. Mr. Carreras did not contribute any monies toward the settlement nor had any involvement in the activities alleged in the customer’s complaint.
