Yesterday I got up and got all four of my boys up and excited about building their own animal for the first time. We live two hours away from the closest build a bear. We arrived at the location at 9 am. Where we met up with my sister and her three children. We were all excited for our first experience with your company. The lines was already long but we were willing to wait. We got in line and were waiting. At 9:50am we were informed that they only had 300 bears and everyone else would be given a voucher. When we received our voucher it was for $15 off. I was only going to pay $16 for all four of my boys to do the bear. The voucher should have been to come back another day and pay your age. It is disappointing that it was not advertised as such and that the stores here in Oklahoma were so unprepared. You all advertised this all over the place only to cause aggravation for parents and upset hundreds of children in the process. The 300 bears were gone berfore 10 am. Needless to say our seven children left the mall upset. Meghan Herbert

Went to MacArthur Glen to buy a bear and outfits for my granddaughters bithday I waited patiently for my turn When it was my turn the assistant got up and walked away I was flummoxed She came back a minute later with a woman with two children I said excuse me I am next She told me the woman was around the corner which she would not have seen in the position she was sitting to fill the bears. She shrugged her shoulders at me and continued to serve the lady I complained to the cash sales assistant who also shrugged her shoulders I am a 63 year old grandmother who is not invisable and should not be treated this way when I clearly waited my turn I would like a response to why I was treated this was I did not cause a scene in you shop as I am a professional person and would not upset children

We had made prior arrangements to participate in the pay your age day when I got off work.It never even lasted all day as it was stated it would be.No voucher, no come another day, nothing. Very disappointed that Build A Bear was unable to honor its word and stand by it brand for this event. Build a bear please find a way to fix this disappointment.

Today my sons went to your St Stephens store in hull with their dad, the girl that was on the door told them it was 2 bears for 8 pound they waiting a hour to have the bears stuffed to go to the checkout to find out it wasn”t 2 for 8 pound, now I have 2 very disappointed and upset children all because one of your staff gave them the wrong information. I”m very disappointed as I get alot of bears from you as both my boys love them.

This was absolutely the worst idea ever. I woke up extra early to head out to the store for this deal just to come find out that by 830 the lines were cut off for this deal. It was a complete waste of time and not to mention my daughter cried and cried because she was very disappointed. Try telling ur 2 year old she”s not getting a bear. This was going to be her first time ever experience here and it was ruined. My email [protected]@yahoo.com.

This is not a complaint about the quality of the item and more the store. I took my little boy to the Blackpool build a bear for his birthday bear. We have previous build a bears and he loves all his teddies. He helped build it although he”s 1 he kissed the heart, me and my friend from out of town managed to capture the process on camera. Now I”m seeing everyone else getting an actual birthday bear and we have just a standard boring bear that I wouldn”t of personally bought. There”s no indication it”s a birthday bear because it”s not. Now his 2 best friends and his cousin all have them but my sons is the odd one out. I rang the store they told me they was out of stock to wich I replied why was I not informed of this on the day? They have agreed to exchange the bear but how can I take his current bear off him. He”s only 1 I can”t explain this to him and it will cause distress. Then once he gets a tiny bit older he”s going to realise his is different and isn”t even a birthday bear. I wouldn”t be bothered if I hadn”t of spend what I consider as a decent amount in this shop since the birth of my son. We have purchased bears for presents. Bought different outfits. I”m very upset by all of this and hope we can come to a mutual agreement. I just don”t want my son to feel he has different or has missed out.

The sales person is Freehold Mall (NJ) one of the rudest people I have ever met. Purchased a birthday bear for my son turning 6. Asked her about the promotion buy one get one for $10.00 dollars. She told me to read the sign!!! um really, , , I did but didn”t understand. I WILL NOT PAY THESE PRICES ANYMORE. I can go to Kohl”s for $5.00 dollars and they donate the money to a children”s hospital. You should really evaluate your workers. These is a kids store. She have been dancing to help me, I mean come on!!! Melissa you should be fired!!!

We call into the Build a Bear store on Yesterday first of all to get all the facts straight already knowing the lines were going to be extremely long just to confirm all details… only to be turned away with 5 yes FIVE crying children after being in line for 3 hours … maybe my phone muted on the part where after a certain amount of people were served then it was over… just like that! NOT FAIR! I Took off work for this and all! #PISSED!!!??

We drove an hour to the nearest Build-A-Bear store, waited in line with four children over an hour expecting to pay their age, and get handed a $15 coupon. I”m sorry but that is not going to be equivalent to the price I would have paid for ” their age”. You should have given pay your age vouchers, not $15 off. Take this into consideration, your customers were willing to stand in long lines to take advantage of this offer and were sent home disappointed and short handed. All those with vouchers handed out at the stores should be “pay your age” vouchers at the very least.
