Discrimination at Home Instead, Inc. dba as Homes Instead Senior Care(HISC) franchise dba, I endured suffering, demoralization, and discrimination due to religion at the Home Instead Senior Care franchise site in Fort, Myers, Florida. Another courageous woman in Pennsylvania suffered discrimination due to her religion as well – successful litigated her lawsuit and won in the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania- docket no. 2:17-cv-05070-CDJ. The press releases on the U.S. Dept. of Labor Equal Employment Opportunity disclosed due to continued discrimination of bias, sex, religion, and retaliation at Home Instead, Inc, dba as HISC, and other names. The public information released for all due to the numerous discrimination cases, of hazing, identity theft, grandfathered in medical licenses, harassing by retaliation is discrimination. It is a facade of legal “shady” business practices and polices. Sadly, they are hateful practices by employees in the HISC network for $$$ too. Thanks be to God, many have successfully litigated to alert people, citizens in the Untied States of America. Baltimore, Maryland, San Francisco California-Alameda County, where the penalties against HISC dba as Home Instead, Inc, and dba as Bidwell Home Care Services in federal lawsuits affirm the truth, kindness, and protection of people in the U.S.A.

worked for them for a long time never had one complaint from any client i ever worked with always performed my duties well then they hired these incompetent people to work in the office moved up the people who were already there and started treating the caregivers like crap changing the rules as it suites them tell you that you cant have a cell phone at work then call you on it all day call you at a clients house to talk about other clients winch in against hipaa law tell you to come to their office whenever they feel like it and do not pay you for your time and gas lie to the clients to suite their situation saying that clients are number 1 then lying to them on the phone i am in the process of filing complaints with the labor board and the state for various reasons they don”t give you lunch breaks or even a ten minute break when you work an 8 hour shift you better hope you have some experience when you start working there cause you get a 3 to 4 hour training and on your own time you have to do it on your time just like everything else on your own time no compensation what so ever FAMILIES DO NOT HIRE HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE FOR YOUR LOVED ONES THEY HIRE PEOPLE OFF THE STREET WITH NO EXPERIENCE THEY SEND INCOMPENTENT PEOPLE DO CHEESY BACK GROUND CHECKS AND EVEN WORSE IS THEY HIRE OFFICE STAFF THAT ARE WORSE NO EXPERIENCE CALL TO CLIENTS HOUSES TO TALK ABOUT OTHER CLIENTS IS AGAINST THE LAW the worst company i ever worked for never got one paid day off no medical benefits do not work for them do not hire them for your loved one BEWARE

They’ve been with us for six months. We chose them because they had a great reputation and we were promised to always get help each time we needed it. My mother can’t walk so she needs a caregiver. But this morning a lady from their office called me and said there were no caregivers. That was sad to hear. I’m sure they have a lot of caregivers in our area. I have to do something with my issue.

THEY KEEP MY DEPOSIT OF $45.00 FOR WORK NOT ASK FOR OR WORK NOT DONE THE OWNER IS SID JAY AND HIS DAUGHTER JENA. I HAVE TALKED TO THEM BOTH FOR OVER A YEAR AND THEY HAVE BEEN VERY ABUSIVE AND UNCOOPERATIVE. SID SAID IF I REPORTED HIM OR HIS COMPANY HE WOULD SUE ME FOR LIBEL.

The worse company i have ever worked for in my life. I would never recommend Home Instead Senior Care/st.Louis to anyone. They work you to death and they pay you a little of nothing while they make the big bucks. Do they care about the worker or clients? No and no . I started working at Home Instead because i love working with elderly people and i enjoy making a different in somebody life. I started at $8.00 hour and two years later I”m still at $8.00.(RIP OFFS) They never call you in the office and say we appreciate the work you do.When you take off or go on vacation they have the nerves to say think of your client when taking off. I thought that is the reason why you have other caregivers to fill in. Do they check on the client to see is everything going ok? NO they don”t but if the client decide not to pay they want to run them down.

The company provided competent care givers the first month then the care givers began to be increasingly negligent giving the wrong meds at the wrong time of day example(gave morning meds at nightime and night time meds in the morning) The meds were clearly labeled in plastic pill containers with snap lids. One caregiver did not provide a breakfast for the senior lady and senior had to contact daughter to go buy breakfast and bring it to her. One caregiver allowed senior, who was a fall risk, to climb out of a recliner with the foot rest up and senior fell and bruised herself. Frequently caregivers would leave trash out and gloves laying around and towels on the floor. One caregiver who was training to be a nurse told the senior that she had a bladder infection and told all the other care givers that the senior had a bladder infection. The senior became very upset and scared. The caregiver told the daughter about the bladder infection and the daughter said she would take care of that but the care givers job was not to upset the senior with her “medical opinion”. The senior was checked and had no symptoms and no infection. Senior was bruised on her arms many times because the caregivers did not put a pull sheet in the bed with the senior and would pull the senior by her arms. Senior was never excersised and was allowed to stay in bed all day on weekends. After several weeks of poor care and repeated calls to Joyce Brasher the daughters threatened to call a lawyer. The company then removed services with less than one week notice. The company then contacted other health care service companys such as Visting Angels, and warned them about the family so that the family could not obtain competent caregivers. When the daughter questioned Joyce about the caregiver that was diagnosing the senior with a bladder infection then Joyce said that it never happened and that the family was lying. Stay away from Home Instead on Spring Gate road in Southeast Huntsville, Alabama if you value the safety and welfare of your loved ones.
