This company is a joke. I open an account online to take advantage of their Black Friday sales, and it links me to my brothers account. After 60 minutes on the phone, nothing has been resolved and my account, and my brothers are now locked for 1-2 days while they try to figure this out. Meanwhile, what little inventory they have, will be sold out. If I order online, I will not get credit for my purchases on their member rewards program. I ask for a supervisor and am told, well they are busy so they will call you back in 1-2 days. Well that is no help at all. This is so pathetic it is actually comical. And all of this headache is for marginal quality anyway. What was I thinking? I cannot recommend running from this company strongly enough. Run, and run fast. There are plenty of other clothiers out that will value our business. SHAME ON YOU

I buy a lot of clothes for work but since I had never bought any from Jos A Bank I decided to give them a try. Bought two sport coats, two pair of pants, a belt and some ties. | So, after wearing one of the sport coats 5 or 6 times I noticed a lot of pilling on the right breast. Took it into the store and although they agreed that was abnormal they only offered to shave the coat with a razor to remove the pilling. They also informed me that I did buy their; “entry level sport coat”. Well how stupid of me to expect a $300 sport coat to last longer than 6 wears! The coat continues to pill and I continue to shave it. Starting to look bad so that coat is on its way to Goodwill. | Liked a pair of pants and all was well until I was getting into a car recently and heard a rip. Was a little surprised since if anything the pants are a little big. Ran back into hotel to change when I noticed the rip wasn’t in a seam but right in the middle of the fabric. Of course the pants were past the 90 day return period so Jos A Bank refused to do anything. They said; “that is not nornal wear and tear”. Well, no s*** Sherlock! There is nothing normal about fabric just failing in the middle of a pair of pants. There’s another $200 down the drain. | Last, the “leather” belt I bought appears to be leather laminated to a plastic backing. After maybe 10 wears that is already looking terrible. Not even going to waste time taking that back to Jos A Bank just to have them tell me that I only bought a $80 belt or that I was wearing it wrong. | I still wear some classic business clothes I bought in the mid-late 90s!! I think I know how to wear and care for business attire. | Jos A Bank sells terrible quality clothing and they don’t stand behind what they sell.

Where do I begin..the pay is SORRY but I love working around people and my co-workers. Just a brief bio on me; I didn”t take this job for the money, I took it because i loved my job. I owned my own manufacturing facility for many years so I do know a little about running a company. I told the manager that if they didn”t increase the pay, they were going to have a revolving door of employees and spending all their time on re-training new people. Store manager runs scared. The assistant manager set me up, and I was fired for stealing a deposit for $287.00. HR said that me and the assistant manager would have to turn our keys in, and would be put on paid leave. I found out the following week that the AM was at work! I told them I had evidence that would prove it was the AM that took the money and not me. JAB put a “gag order” in place, telling my co-workers that they were not allowed to talk to me, even on their off hours! So let me get this straight, you have 2 suspects, 1 was allowed to stay at work, giving her plenty of air time with the manager. I got ZERO time with anybody. The regional manager told me in a text that he couldn”t talk to me and i had to talk to HR. I Fed- Ex”d a letter to Neal Black, signature required and I heard NOTHING from Mr. Black. So now I”m moving forward…this is defamation of character and I live in a small community and I the Lord Jesus fights my battles! There is so much more to my story, but if there is one thing that I would like Corporate at Jos A Bank to be aware we your employee”s are your most precious commodity we are what pay your large salaries that are posted on the website.

Very bad company to work for. would rather spend millions of dollars on TV commercials & radio ads, than treat their employees with dignity & respect. No communication with their store managers. Just write you up & spit you out. Don”t care if you have a mortgage, family, or health issues. Even if the #”s were good(doubled volume in 6 years) did not matter, write you up spit you out. These retail companies need to be stopped in treating people like this. So I”m urging all to stop shopping there!
