I applied for a position at Glassdoor.com for a bookkeeper position at what I thought was Aetna Insurance in Hartford CT. I had an online interview and when I told her that I was interested, she told me I had to send a check to cover the software that would be loaded on a laptop that they were providing to me. I went back and forth with her for a day or two and finally went on Atena’s career website and saw a message about people scamming employees to get money from them. This is what it said: Recruiting Scams
