Puchased a bed and am trying to send it back after 10 days of sleeping on the bed. The company will not allow me to send the entire bed back but only the mattess and then only if it is perfect and if we pay a higher cost to ship than we paid to receive!!! If you don’t use their expensive shippers they won’t give you a full refund!! Omaha sales people are only after the sale and don’t want anything to do with you after the fact – – – Waste of good money – – – don’t purchase scam Scam Scam Scam!!!

We bought a bed from Sleep Number with 60-month terms. However, Sleep Number instead set us up for 18-month terms with GE/Synchrony. I did not learn about this until further down the road and investigated my account. I found they had been charging interest past the 18 months. Shame on me for not paying closer attention. Talked with Sleep Number and they said there was no record of even having a 60-month promotion when I made the purchase, and I had made a mistake. This was simply not true as, at that time, that was the only reason we could afford to buy the bed. We only had one household income at the time and 5-year financing allowed us to make reasonable monthly payments. Needless to say, I felt lied to and deceived. I will never buy another Sleep Number product again. I recommend anyone buying their product to be very careful regarding their fine print as it may end up costing you MUCH more money.

We purchased 2 sets of sheets for our split king size sleep number bed when we bought it in September 2017. The top sheet on both sets have torn in several different areas of the sheet, we have washed it as directed, the bottom sheet is in tact, with no problems. I am very disappointed in this fabric, I paid full price for these sheets and the quality is not what I expected. Very Disappointed Nickie Williams 2609 Pine Park Blvd. Orange, TX. 77632 [protected] hm./[protected] cell [protected]@gmail.com

You buy a bed, you have no payments no interest for 1 year, but if you don”t read the fine print and don”t pay it off in full by your promotional due date – by the way they send you a bill after your due date has passed, you have to pay all of the interest you have incurred for an entire year! Of course they send the bill after so people have to pay – this is how they make money – scam, scam, scam. Please don”t buy from select comfort & ge money – they will steal your money. Stand up against these companies!!

Since placing our Sleep number mattress on a conventional bed frame (headboard and footboard with side rails), both my partner & I experience back pain. When using the frame purchased from Sleep Number, the bed slept ok. I do not want to loose my current bed frame but the mattress does not fit properly, thus a bad sleep. Any body else out there with this problem?

We purchased a Select Comfort Queen 5000 3 years ago. We spent over $2000. The bed was making a squeaking noise. Upon inspection, the side rail was crushed at the corner at the head of the bed. They considered this a bed defect. To replace it is $42. The pump went out and to replace it- $126. The warrenty is pro rated. A bed costing over $2000 should last longer than 3 years. At the time, we also purchased 2 – 3000 full size beds and a 3000 twin. Would never recommend this bed/company.

We ordered a $4, 600 Queen i7 bed. We waited 2 weeks for it to be delivered and I took the day off to be there. When they came to deliver it they said they couldn”t get it up my stairs, I would either need to get a King or remove my railings on my stairs. Not knowing how to or wishing to remove my railings I asked the delivery guy to consider other options, while he was on the phone with his dispatcher I removed my stair railings. I asked him if he could deliver it now to which he replied no your delivery has been rescheduled. I said your here, the beds here and the railings have been removed and still he refused, so now I have a unsafe stairway and no bed, I am fuming and you just lost a $4, 600 sale. If this is how you treat a customer on deliver I”d hate to see how you”d treat a customer with a problem! So a customer service representative called and I explained the situation, they said they would contact the delivery team to see what happened. The delivery team told them they have pictures of the railings on when they left, when they actually took the photos of the railings when they first arrived and advised me I need to either get a King or remove the railing. Quite obviously they are protecting themselves with lies. The representative I talk to about the lie said “what do you want me to do? They are in New York and I”m in Minnesota”. Wow great company, great customer service.

We decided to have our bed shipped to us. There is a high charge for this, unlike many other mattress/furniture companies. They charge $170 for delivery and setup and $80 for delivery. We opted for delivery and decided to save $90 and set it up ourselves. However, they shipped the packages (5 very large boxes- valued at $2000) to wrong address and Select Comfort does not have an account with UPS that requires someone sign for the packages! They just have them deliver them to your front porch! Are you kidding me?! Even if it was the right address, that is RIDICULOUS! What if the purchaser isn”t home? Anyone can just come and take the packages. In our case, we applied for financing, gave the rep our information to make the purchase, and paid with a credit card. This means that our address should have been on file in at least 3 places. When we did not receive the materials when they were due to arrive, we called UPS and found that the items had been delivered to another address. UPS told us that we would have to contact Select Comfort in order to reconcile the issue. We did this and were immediately told that we must have given the wrong address. However, when we asked what address they gave to UPS, they gave us the incorrect address. Instead of apologizing and accepting responsibility, they then blamed UPS! When we insisted that they were accountable, they said they would just call us back. Did they…NO! They have yet to call us back. It”s been about 3 weeks now. Lesson to take away- they work on commission and once they make finalized the sale, they don”t care. There is really no excuse for not ensuring that your customer receives the product they paid GOOD money for, and are completely satisfied. For a company that supposedly prides itself on quality customer service, I am appalled to say the least!

This is an IMPOSSIBLE company to deal with. It has taken months, four service visits and endless time on the phone and I still cannot finish this transaction. Condescending reps who tell me that the customers are ever sooooo pleased with the beds and service. Well goodie for them as I feel like I’ve been dealing with the most incompetent operation and am totally disappointed in my experience and since I’ve bought EIGHT of these beds I have an idea of GOOD service and people this is not it.

We bought a Sleep Number bed back in 2003. I slept on it for about a year and a half but started to get back aches so I began sleeping in the extra bedroom on a regular bed. My husband still sleeps on the Sleep Number bed but is constantly complaining about back aches. I really regret buying the bed but we spent so much money on it that we feel we need to use it. Kinda silly huh. I wouldn”t recommend this bed to anyone. It is starting to sag in the middle. Every once in a while I”ll sleep on it with my husband but would get up in the middle of the night to go to the other bed since I”d wake up with backaches. This was one of the worst purchases I”ve every made. I won”t make that mistake again.

We purchased a sleep number bed less than 6 months ago. My husband has not been able to sleep one whole night in it. I think I may have tried 6 full nights. The mattress sinks in the middle. No matter what the settings are, you roll toward the center. (By the way, don’t get fooled by the advertisement with the little hand held device with the numbers on it- This only comes with the very top of the line at an extra price) The device that comes with the set up shows either up or down. You have to guess what your setting is each time you want to change it. This mattress is nothing but a glorified air mattress. They don’t tell you that in the advertisements. I have been in contact with the company a number of times and the best thing they can offer to fix my problem is to charge me $170.00 to have someone come and put something on the mattress which may or may not solve my problem. this would be to construct some kind of air chamber to eliminate the rolling sensation. Evidently they have had the problem before if they offered me this solution. I was stunned at the cost and told them to never mind that I would keep the set as a reminder never to be so stupid as to pay cash for something that expensive without having talked to someone who has one. Please note: I can’t even switch out the bedroom set with the one in my spare bedroom cause the technical set up takes an expert to break it down and reinstall.

Sleep Number Beds: I love my CA King bed but you should try to improve your sheets! I purchased 2 sets; the set I hate is the 310 thread count because they WRINKLE SO BADLY. Have you thought about partnering with a company like The Company Store to produce your sheets? They are in the business of selling a wonderful selection of high thread count sheets. I sure won’t buy your 310 sheets again. Also, just because I needed CA King sheets doesn’t mean I have King pillows. I gave the pillow cases away. Please be more flexible. M. Brennan
