Sale Tran# 5880-4 E26/15504 Jerry Hi, I went to the store around 9:17 AM to buy some paint. Mr. Jerry was very rude doesn”t have good customer service at all I didn”t what was his problem I wanted to buy some extra paint and I ask him if have mix paints in the back for me to buy, with his attitudes he told me no someone had already buy all them . When come back to buy some paint. I see someone else getting them. Which mean he was saving them for someone else or the person his paying him to save the paints. It is not right and not fair it suppose to be first come first serve. I real appreciated somebody do something about that.

Two years ago I purchased 4 gallons of the super deck and dock coating. I did this in the summer, very hot, and followed all the instructions. It is now 2019, and the stuff has peeled up very badly. This was supposed to be a 10 year product. Now I have to redo the deck with something and it won”t be this product. My husband and I are in our 70″s and can”t do this again. Very disappointed in this product and a supposedly 10 year guarantee.

To whom it may concern, I would like to file a complaint regarding the service provided by Wilson Choy, store manager located at 5798 Victoria Drive, Vancouver, BC, Canada. Suggested by Wilson, I purchased the paint for the garage floor on Aug 10, 2017. He told me that a mixer is needed to blend 2 paints before it can be applied. I expressed to him that I do not have a mixer. Then Wilson advised me to do it manually. 2 weeks after I painted the floor, I noted that part of the paint does not dry while some other part split. I went back to talk to Wilson. HE SAID IT IS MY OWN FAULT AND NOTHING HE CAN DO FOR IT. I was really upset and frustrated about his response. Then there came another staff assisted me to find the solution- rent a machine to remove the paint and re-do it. Eventually, I got the paint refunded (specifying ” incorrect prep work by customer” on the refunded receipt) but no compensation on the labor and machine rental cost. I am very disappointed about the service provided by your company. I doubt if Wilson is qualified to be a store manager with his lack of product knowledge, communication skills and accountability. I will definitely share my experience with people I know and not recomend your company to anyone. Hope you can investigate the case to avoid further customers suffering from a similar situation. This past Saturday (September 28), around 10 am I attempted to return a concrete stain that I had purchased a week prior from the same store. It ended up not being the right product for what I needed, as I was given some misinformation from the store clerk, so I thought a return would be possible in this case, especially since it was unused. I asked the gentlemen who was working that morning if I could return it for that reason. He seemed in disbelief that I would ask such a thing and explained in an exasperated manner that no, I could not. I told him that just FYI Lowe”s would take such a return. He replied, and I quote, “Well let Lowe”s take it back then.” When I had explained that I had been given some misinformation about the product and what I needed for the space, he indicated that that could not be true. He then asked me how many coats of the stain I had used. As I mentioned, the container was unopened and in my opinion, it is really easy to tell if a can of paint/stain has been opened or not. I told him it was unopened as I could not use it. He then recommended that I come back to talk with the store clerk who had originally helped me. I told him that I live an hour away from the store and that wouldn”t be super convenient for me. In all, I felt that this gentlemen was rude, accusatory, and unhelpful. I know that Sherwin Williams strives to ensure customer satisfaction, and his demeanor and unhelpful attitude were quite the opposite. I have recently purchased a new home, so any extra expense is significant. I have a product that is unused that I can”t use, and wasted money. Thanks so much for hearing my complaint.

This morning, my husband bought a gallon of matching paint and when I tested it on the wall it didn”t match, it was just a shade lighter so I brought that paint back to the same store that my husband bought from, when I got there, tom and the other 2 lemployees ladies were there too and have no other customers there. Tom asked me what I needed? I told him that I bring the paint back if he can rematch it to a shade darker, he said so rude to me that he not going to do that but can give me back the refund and he told me don”t come back! I told him that I didn”t say that I want to get refund then he rudely said back to me (I said that!). This manager is so rude, unrespect and we think he”s race. My husband said this is not the first time but so many times already, he was so rude to him every time he was there.

This is the 4th time I have been in this store and had to deal with a very rude employee named “Nick”, I spend allot of money at your store and I an going to take my business to another company. I have witnessed him curse at other employees in front of customers and he is extremely rude. Horrible horrible service by him. I am shocked that you all would allow this behavior. I have advised my employees not to go back and purchase supplies from this store

There is a middle aged man who works at your Moon Township location at Thorn Run Crossing who”s actions are unacceptable. I do not work for you but I work in the same plaza as your business. I was in the parking lot at work, in my car, a good 50 to 75 yards away from the store, when this man approached my car while I was smoking a cigarette. He said, “You dropped something” and threw a cigarette butt into my car. I did not talk to this man prior, threw a cigarette butt him or his vehicle. And then proceeded to walk away into work. I believe that this behavior is unacceptable for an employee of your company or any other company. I consider this behavior to be a form of discrimination and I will never purchase anything from your Thorn Run Crossing location ever again.

The paint and stains are no good. This store does not know how to mix paints. They abused, ridiculed both me and my painters and put me to shame and more and i had to go all the way up to corporate for help and still the store is getting away with all of the abuse. I called yesterday to see if i could come in for the paint mr weaver promised to me and was told i am not allowed back into the store and the painter must come instead. I called another store right down the road and was told that another customer had been abused and discriminated by lynn and another white man that same day. I also talked to two other customers that had the same issues with that same store. The paint is either no good or else this store is not professional enough to properly mix the paints. They fight the customers and turn them away instead of admitting they have done wrong.

The circumstances in regard to my firm”s issues with Sherwin Williams date back to July 2017 when our Sales Rep left the company. We average between 15 to 20 transactions daily and spend $5, 000 to $10, 000.00 on a weekly basis in SW Stores throughout Central Illinois. Due to the volume of purchase transactions, there are often errors with our invoices that need to be looked at and corrected. When a Rep was involved the corrections were resolved proactively, however, at this time we are spending countless hours on our end managing the corrections. After numerous to our District Rep to have a Sales Rep allocated to our account, we were assigned a Rep to assist us. The Rep we were assigned does not follow through with commitments and has a unacceptable communication skills. Again, we are spending hours each week administratively managing the mistakes. Since the new Sales Rep is not effective and the District Representative is seemingly unwilling to get involved, I am reaching out to corporate to see if there is someone else that can assist us with the admin items that need to be addressed? The store managers and employees do an excellent job servicing us which is why I have not already simply found another vendor. Our business is valued and appreciated by the store managers and their teams- they show us this by working hard for us, going above and beyond their call of duty, etc… It is the Sales and District Reps that are creating the issues and lack the work ethic to resolve these situations not only after the fact but also in proactively finding solutions that will prevent the same errors from reoccurring.

Sherwin-Williams Company is another conglomerate in sheep’s clothing. They play the “good ole boy” game both within the company and when dealng with customers. the average customer pays as much as eight times as much for paint as other consumers. They will tell you that this is decided by the sales volume of the customer, but prices can change just as quickly as as someone baulks, if they are spending enough money or if the manager likes doing business with them. Note that the managers get paid bonuses based on the store sales. They will tell you that this is not true because it is illegal. The truth is that it happens every single day. Best thing to do is to go online or anywhere else except Sherwin Willimas to learn about paint in general. Then buy your paint at an honest price. Every paint company has good paints and better paints, not just Sherwin Williams. You spend more there funding management’s commissions, bonuses, vacations, paid days off —usually occurring weekly—-or in 4-5 day stints once per month. Believe me.

Sherwin Williams runs their store as a sweatshop because they don”t allow their employees to take lunch breaks or regular breaks even if you work 11 hours straight. I was working on a Saturday during one of their “Super Sales” and I could not even take a bathroom brake because I was the only employee at the store, which happens always after 3:00 pm. This one particular day I couldn”t hold it anymore so I closed the store for 5 minutes while I went to the bathroom, a customer must have come and saw the store closed and called the main office and complained. Needless to say I got written up for closing the store without permission. The second time I closed the store to get something to eat because I was starving I was terminated. They know this is illegal but they keep doing it throughout all their stores because if you complain you get fired. I have initiated a claim with the department of labor and I”m just patiently waiting for my day of vindication. They need to know this is America, where “policy” is followed, and not China or a third world country where big corporations have no respect for the law.

This is a ready-made product (not a custom mix). We were told this was an exceptional product (they were out of stock on the product we requested) we paid extra for, based on assurances of durability. We painted several doors and other items in the house. It dried flat (no sheen) and we have hesitated to clean any of the areas for fingerprints, etc. because we feared permanent spotting. They told this was the same finish, but higher grade than what we requested We”re asking that this gallon be replaced, or replaced with “the grade lower” to guarantee a satin sheen to match what we have.
