Sterling Bank

My Savings Disappeared from my Sterling Bank Account!

On 4th September 2019 I started a monthly savings with Sterling Bank called “Double Target” this allows me to save monthly for 9months to meet a particular target. The due date was 4th June 2020. As at 5th June when I checked my account there was no money. I called the Sterling Bank Customer care on 5th June and I was told I will be credited within 24hrs. Since 5th June till date I am yet to get my savings that was due to paid to me since 4th. I have called them 8 times yet they keep saying it will be resolved within 24hrs and I sent mails but they didn’t respond to my mails.

Today 11th June 2020, I visited Sterling Bank at Matori, Mushin Lagos to request for my money but I was told they have network issue. I spent close to 4 hours there and they could only say they have network problem. While in the Bank, I called customer care to inform them but they told me they are working on it. I feel scammed by Sterling Bank and I want everyone to know that they are not reliable. This is my second bad experience with them within 2 weeks.
