Able Restoration Group, Inc. Complaint

Able Restoration spent minutes putting a new roof on our home, then spent days writing up the paperwork for all they had “done.” Although I was told by two other roofing contractors that our house was an $11, 500 or $11, 880 job, Able Restoration somehow managed to find all sorts of horrible things wrong with our roof, and then charged our insurance company over $19, 0000+! Our house is only 8 years old. It was built by a quality home builder, Lundgren Homes. We had storm damage to our shingles. Everything else was fine. Able Restoration is a storm-chasing company that talks people into filing claims on their homes, then uses the homeowner to extort maximum dollars from the insurance company. They got almost twice as much as some other roofers were willing to do it for. Our insurance premiums are high as a result, so we end up paying for it anyway. They didn’t clean up after themselves and they were rude to me and my family. Avoid Able Restoration at all costs in the Twin Cities Marketplace.
