Rented a car on line at All State Car Rental in Los Angeles, near LAX, 3/26/16. It was a sunny day and car appeared adequate. Two days later it rained. The tires were bald and we nearly spun out. The brakes were poor. The windshield wipers were shredded so we could not see to drive. We parked the car and requested them to come and pick it up where we were staying in Studio City. Our complaints were noted with them and our credit card company. They did not come for the car so we rented with Enterprise and drove both cars to the Global Allstate rental office. They refused to give us a refund so we proceeded with a dispute with the credit card company. Now over two months later they have lied and stated we never complained at the time and that their “car dealership” said none of the safety hazards were found. We now have to file another dispute with our credit card and have “a second opinion from another merchant in the same field that states how the service was defective”.
