Their contract reads that they are to supply all materials with the exception of dry wall and studs.They get you working you go in and demo someones kitchen .They pay you for that part then when the materials start coming in there is always something they are lacking .They tell you to go our and buy it save the reciepts and they will pay you back. I was spending more than I made on the job in materials .The pay checks would stop coming and the jobs were left unfinsished still they wanted you to spend money you didnt have on materials.Telling you that when the job was complete they would pay you.When I refused to put out any more money they accused me of walking off the job and then they didnt pay me at all they jobs I did were 98% complete and I didnt recieve any pay for them .They didnt even send me a check for the materials I bought.They used to be called Kitchen Carolina they changed the name to American Kitchen and moved to Greensboro NC. They dont care how long the customer has to wait and they certainly dont care about the people doing the work for them.all they care about is the money they get to put into their own pocket. Take care if you have any work done by them or if you go to work for them. Check them out with the BBB under both names you will see they are owned And operated by the same people.I plan on going to the attorney general and anyones else I can think of.I figure they still owe me about 6000.00.
