Amy Jordan is a passionate practitioner of mental health counseling and individualized therapies, specializing in work with children and families. Amy delivers cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based treatments for adults, adolescents and children with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, acute stress, social adjustment, ADHD and relationship problems. In addition to her experience as a mental health counselor and therapist, Amy’s background includes eleven years of work as an elementary school counselor, helping families and children work through behavioral challenges that impact their education and individual development.As a survivor of childhood cancer herself, Amy has a special interest in helping individuals and their families in working through the psycho-social stressors related to cancer and other medical diagnoses.Amy has had the privilege of witnessing dramatic transformations using cognitive behavioral therapy with clients suffering from depression, anxiety disorders, suicidal ideation and many other struggles. I am eager to apply my experience and compassion with clients. Evening and weekend appointments!
