I specialize in counseling teen girls and young women (ages 13-35), because being a teen or young adult is downright hard today! Formerly a high school teacher, I’ve see the powerful pressures, new challenges, and countless expectations placed on their shoulders. My counseling style provides a safe place for my clients to express themselves and feel heard, while I actively listen with care. I help my clients become mindful of their negative thought patterns, which so often lead to anxiety and depression. I teach them coping skills and encourage them to take good care of their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. I specialize in working with young women who are dealing with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, low self-esteem, social anxiety, grief, panic attacks, and distressful family situations. Working through areas that make them feel weak and discovering their strength through it all, I support them in becoming a person they are proud to be! As an active volunteer in a Christian ministry called Young Life, I have spent years walking alongside and leading small groups for high school and college age women. I am passionate about helping young women find their identity and purpose in a chaotic world. All of our life stories are different and powerful in their own way; let’s explore yours together!
