Auto Module Source Poor Customer Servce Davie Florida!!. I bought an ECM (electronic control module) from them. It went bad and they sent me a replacement before I sent them the core (defective one). My Jeep wouldn’t pass inspection and I didn’t know if it was worth repairing. I called Auto Module Source and ask them if I should return the replacement or hold on to it until a decision was made. I did this so they would not charge me $400.00 for not sending my core back in a timely manner. They instructed me to return the replacement ECM and it wouldn’t be a problem getting another one if I fixed my Jeep. I got my Jeep fixed so I called them to get another one sent. They told me they couldn’t send another one until I sent my old one back. I had explained to them that I use this vehicle to deliver mail and I need it every day. It still run and is serviceable but the check engine light is on and give an ECM code just like it did before. They said that now it is past 30 days but not out of the one year warrenty and because it is past the 30 days I have to send my core back first. If they had told me that when I called about sending the replacement back to them I would have just kept it. They than would have charged me the $400.00 core charge on my credit card and than credited me that same $400.00 back when I sent the core. Now they won’t send me another ECM because I am past the 30 days but when I first reported the problem to them it wasn’t. I WOULD NOT DEAL WITH ANY COMPANY THAT HAS THIS POOR OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!
