Avis Orlando Airport Avis Car Rentalyr Avis kept my recovered items released to them by the sheriff Orlando Florida!!. My rental car was stolen on May 20th in Orlando. The sheriff recovered the car July 5 with all of our personal items valued at $800.00 inside. This was documented. The car with all our recovered belongings were related to Avis Orlando airport location. Avis only gave us about $60 worth of our belongings back after ignoring our phone calls for 15 days, forcing us to drive 9 hours to pick up almost nothing. They hung up on us, ignored us, tainted us and when I showed up in person, didn’t do a damned thing except get mouthy with me and not answer any questions at all. After spending as much $$$ as we have over the last three years I can’t believe we are being treated so poorly. I’ve been robbed twice now and they don’t seem to care. I had over $500 in liquor and champagne alone in boxes in the car. It’s gone as well as the helium tank and balloons. I’m sure someone had quite the party at my expense. I am completely disgusted with Avis and every employee they have at the Orlando airport location.
