This is coming from SOMEONE SO DISSATISIFED, that I HAVE VOWED TO NEVER ALLOW ANOTHER BAJAJ PRODUCT IN MY HOME IN THIS LIFE. I gifted my wife a Bajaj Kristal as our wedding anniversary gift in 2007 purchasing it from Hind Motors. Since the day we purchased this vehicle, I have had nothing but trouble from it and the attitude of your dealerships has not been a consoling factor at all. From Day 1 this vehicle has a tendency to stop on its own and then start only when its in good mood. Since we shifted out of the city for a couple of years there wasn’t much use for this vehicle for us due to which we also missed the UNPUBLICISED recall of fuel pumps for this model. Now that my wife decided to use it it simply wouldn’t run. She would take it out to her office, and then call me from the way for help as the Kristal would stop and would not start again. This was supposed to be an anniversary gift but has turned out to be a bitter cause of tension between me and my wife. On contacting your local AUTHORIZED DEALERS namely HIND Motors and Pratap Auto, I am told that this model is no longer serviced. This is even when I am ready to pay what ever charges are necessary for repairs so that I can get this piece of junk in running condition and sell it. NOW HERE IS THE WORST PART. MR. CHOPRA AT HIND MOTORS TELL ME THAT I CAN GET THIS SERVICED ANY WHERE I WANT AND THIS IS LEAST OF THEIR PROBLEMS AS THE MODEL IS OUT OF PRODUCTION. This conversation happened on phone that I have recorded among the numerous recordings of conversations with Mr. Chopra/Mr. Rahul and some Bajaj Area Manager at Hind motors. This happened to someone who was WILLING TO PAY to the company FOR CORRECTING A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. Since the company would not help I took help of local mechanics who were kind enough to suggest a solution to bye pass the fuel pump by installing a mini tank in the storage compartment(I am yet to implement this solution). I am not sure if this email will be responded to or not but I need to inform you about what you have lost. I have had the following vehicles since 1988: Chetak (1988), Legend(1995), Caliber(1999), Pulsar(2003), Kristal(2007). And now I am all set to purchase a cruiser bike for myself and am sure that it will not be a Bajaj after the HARROWING EXPERIENCE with Kristal and your dealerships. YOU ARE ALL SET TO LOSE A LOYAL CUSTOMER WHO WILL ALWAYS HAVE A NEGATIVE OPINION ABOUT THIS COMPANY IN FUTURE. Just to give you an insight into our sufferings: Imagine a lady and her 5 year old daughter in 45 degrees of heat pulling the scooty for 3-4 kilometers. This did not happen once but at least 30-40 times my wife went out on Kristal in last 12 months. So do you have solution for me? Or is it going to be one of those unanswered emails to make sure that my faith in Bajaj as a leading company is lost forever. For me GOD would still be there if you are able to restore my faith in a company I have been associated with since last 22 years. Legal options remain open to me. This email is my last ditch effort as I still want to belive that Bajaj cant be that bad to consumers post sale.

With a heavy heart I would like to bring this to your notice that I am seeking for some explanations on the warranty policy for Bajaj Pulsar 150, UG-3 model and there is no one to help me here. I had been calling on the number that was printed on the booklet for Bangalore region but sadly no one seems to pick the call. I had bought a UG-3 on 09/01/07 from M/S R.V Bajaj, Bangalore with extended warranty. I have logged on some 26000 km and it is now the 3rd year. Lately my bike has been consuming a lot of engine oil and there is some white smoke from the exhaust now and low pick up. I had been giving the bike for regular service to the same dealer for the same problem but they couldn’t rectify the problem. Now I am being told that there is mild “ceasure” on the cylinder walls and the piston. When I claimed for warranty I was told that I would not be eligible and the reason cited was that of “possible adultrated fuel”. The question is how am I supposed to know if the fuel is adultrated? Also is it true that I would have to pay for the repairs? Will I not get a warrant CLAIM on this? The manual says clearly that piston-cylinders and valve train drive come under warranty. Kindly enlighten me with the company’s warranty claims cover policy. And let me know if I would get a warranty repair.
