Bear Transmission Eli (owner) Deceiving, Dishonest, Defensive, Hollywood, Florida!!. Please beware! They are liars and will charge you a different amount at the end. Took in my car for a rebuilt transmission (according to Eli (owner) that’s what the problem was), and was told it would cost $2000.00. I was called 5 days later that the car was done and was told that the total was $2800.00 because the parts were all new and not rebuilt after all. Thank god we knew someone that was friends with one of the mechanics and he confided that the owner was lying and that they never put new parts. Once we confronted the owner he was shocked and very defensive. then he quoted us again $2000.00. Please stay away, you’re better off going on some online list, such as Angie’s list for referrals. I also found out that they are not part of the BBB due to so many complaints from customers.
