When I filled out an on line request for my move I did not expect to be deluged with calls,e mails , text messages and phone calls. After speaking with many sales people I decided to hire GOLDEN VALLEY VAN LINES IN LAKEWOOD WA.. The salesman David was the nicest, most knowledgeable, and persistent of the 3 companies that I narrowed it down to. He promised to stay with me thru the entire process. I do not want to go on and on with this review so I am listing below what went wrong and the reasons to stay away from these crooks. 1 – They almost doubled the price at pick up, my guy David disappeared on me 2 – The guy’s spoke very little english 3- They did a horrible job of packing my things 4- My delivery was supposed to be 3-5 day’s , it took 3 weeks 5- I was screamed at by the customer service girl Christine 6- 30-40 % percent of my items were either broken, pillaged , or smashed 7- Back with Christine again who conveniently did not answer the phone and her voice mail was full 8- Back with David who would also not take my calls Stay away from these crooks, I have filed a complaint with 5 state and federal agencies to try to put them out of business
