Camping World of NJ Refuses to return phone calls resulting in RV freezing Lakewood Township New Jersey!!. My husband and I purchased a new RV in October 2017. The manager told us to contact the service department to winterize the RV when ready. We started calling the 1st week of December and left messages for a lady named “Megan”. Between both of us, we left 8 messages, without any call back. Finally sales rep called us to let us know they found a 2nd set of keys for our RV in late January. I told him we have been unable to schedule service. He had Megan call me. We finally got the RV in 2/7/18. Waited for them to call us on 2/10/18. They told me that the RV had in fact frozen and that we would need to pay for repairs. I disagreed with him and my husband went to speak to a manager. Manager told us, it is like an oil change, you could have brought it anywhere. So we started calling the corporate office for some sort of resoultion on 2/10/18. We STILL have not gotten a call back. We call about every other day and are re-assured someone will call us back from the leadership team. This is now going on a month. Today, we filed a BBB complaint as well as reviews on Yelp and here. And now, I will say this just so all are aware, it had NOTHING to do with the money. We bought our RV cash (85,000). A simple repair of $1,400.00 really is not the point. Point being, how can we be held responsible when we were unable to schedule an appointment due to the service departments failures. I want my RV fixed the right way and we are willing to bring it to a different repair facility, but wanted to give Camping World the chance to do the right thing. I would never reccommend this dealership/repair facility to anyone. They are just terrible and will not communicate with you after they take your money.
