Cayman Luxury Rental

Cayman Luxury Rental Hertz Cayman Islands Herz lied to us. Said that the car insurance on our credit card was not good in the Cayman Islands. George Town grand Cayman island airport!!. The Hertz Agent lied to us when I told him that we did not want to buy car rental insurance. He said that our Fidelity credit card rental car insurance was not good in the Caymen Islands. That it was a left hand drive country and if we had an accident or a traffice violation that the law was very hard on foreigners. We could be held in jail if we didn’t have car insruance. This of course scared the hell out of my wife to the point that she was in tears. I relented and agreed to the insurance that i knew we did not need. The rental car cost a little over $200 the cheapest insurance was $361.00 When we got home I filled out a customer response questionair with Hertz and of course have never heard a word from them. I disputed the charge for the insurance to Fidelity Credit Card and they denied my dispute. Said that i had signed the insurance agreement and the fact that the agent lied to us made no difference. Needless to say we will not be giong back to the Cayman Islands and sure as hell will not be renting from Hertz again.
