I approach counseling with the fundamental belief that we are all whole individuals – each of us unique; equally deserving of love, understanding, and compassion; and capable of making positive changes to achieve wellness, contentment, and meaningful connection. While there are many factors that may interrupt your ability to live life fully, my goal is to help you identify, understand, and resolve your own unique life stressors. As counseling is a very personal experience, so should your treatment planning be. I may employ a variety of cognitive behavioral, art, poetry, mindfulness, and bibliotherapy techniques based upon your presenting concerns and personal interests; and we will work together to help you achieve your individual goals, a sense of peace, and well-being.I believe in a holistic, integrative approach, and with your permission, I will work collaboratively with you, your healthcare providers, and any additional support systems to ensure that you receive benefit in all facets of your life.
