Purchased and paid for an Ollie corner slouch couch in full (approximately R16000 with delivery and scotch guard) on 20 November 2019. I chose the couch from the warehouse stock as I needed it to be delivered on 30 November 2019 and could not wait the 4-6weeks for a couch to be made. Subsequently, I was unable to make contact with the Coricraft warehouse to confirm delivery on 30 November, even though they should have made first contact with me from 29 November which they did not. After numerous calls made by me between Coricraft Kollonade and the Coricraft warehouse I was eventually informed, around 2pm on 30 November the agreed upon date of delivery, that my couch would not be delivered as it did not pass the quality control inspection at the warehouse. Instead, this damaged couch would be repaired and delivered to me on 3 December. Since then I have not been able to get an answer from the warehouse or any branch about what exactly the damage was nor whether it will actually be delivered on 3 December. I have found the communication and service from Coricraft dismal and unapologetic inspite of their many shortcomings.

We bought a leather couch at the end of October 2017 and was told that it would be delivered in 4 -8 weeks. It was delivered on the 28th of November 2017. The problem was that is was damaged, cuts all over the head rest. We contact coricraft Centurion and took photos of the couch. We had to call them back several times to get answers. they eventually gave us the number for the warehouse in Johannesburg. We contact them and spoke to a Melodie. We were told that leather is a natural product and that there will be marks on it. Yes I know it”s a natural product, I”m not an [censor]! But cut marks that are so straight and deep, that”s not natural. This Melodie was extremely rude, and told me to select a different couch and leather. Well, I said that I wanted that couch and that color leather. Eventually they collected the damaged couch, informing that they will replace it, leaving us to sit on camping chairs over Christmas…still sitting on camping chairs, it is now the 10th of January 2018. I made a call just this morning to require about our couch, because we knew that the businesses close over December. Melodie asked me if we want to select a new couch!!! I said no..I want to know when our new couch will be delivered! She can”t give me a date when we can expect the couch. Really??? We already paid almost half of the couch…but we don”t have a couch. We are really unhappy with Coricraft, their showrooms are fantastic, they have the most beautiful furniture, but their service are the worst I have ever experienced. We bought a full leather lounge suit from Coricract Hemingways Mall in East London. It was already damaged on the day of delivery and the cushions needed corifill. The driver in charge of delivery took photos of the damage. So did we and reported it the same day. A month later we realized the scotchguard is not up to standard. We reported it. Finally, over a year later. it was collected on a rusted open trailer with the promise of being repaired, cleaned, scotch guarded and corifilled. We received it back and what a mess! It has been stuffed completely and is so badly repaired it is shocking! All the stitching has been done by hand and what a bad job! I have been in tears over this!! Some cushions have been over-stuffed and others not at all. It is unusable and an absolute embarrassment when having people over. I feel sick just looking at it. Now they want to collect it again and have it inspected in CP which will apparently take another 8 weeks!!! I do not trust you guys and I want my money back!!

We bought 2 leather couches at the Nelspruit Branch.First couch”s springs collapsed.The second couch springs collapsed. Coricraft came and collect couch on the 17th of Feb 2017. Numerous calls, numerous emails to Branch and Head office, not one answer or explanation.I am requesting a credit return. Couches not even 1 year old. They refuse. They say they have their money, and would love to see us in court. Still waiting for our Couch, bought with cash R20k, and the ware house manager informed telephonically that he does not know where our couch is. After 2 months of fighting and a house full of guests with no seating, Coricraft head office informs me this morning that there has been a confusion and they don”t know where the couch is. The warehouse manager arranged for a loan couch worth R5k which you will not give your child staying in a dormitory, today which I will be putting on the side walk tonight.

Very bad after sales as i have bought leather lounge couch and paid a lot of money for it as i have found few faults on the couch and send a complain to mall of the south branch where i had bought it from spoke to a lady by the name of olgar de pinno.shes telling me the leather of the couch is like that but to me its a factory fault.please can you contact m asap else im goin to hand this problem over to my attorneys.its been now 2 weeks now and still no info from coricraft . my contact num is [protected]

To whom it may comcern I’m reaching the end of my tither trying desperately to place an order, open account and start payment process. I’ve been juggling with this for 3 weeks now and I’ve had no luck. I have now dealt with three ladies from your Hillcrest branch as I am moving from Zambia to kloof on the 10th of December and would like to take the lovely then. I’ve been sent a quote changed my order and then nothing. I then resubmit my query my order and get a reply from another individual asking when I’m moving. I reply once again with my query my order and my request to open account and start paying and get nothing back. please all I want to do is place my order have it delivered on the 10th December and start paying. It is becoming increasingly difficult and frustrating at the same. Please could you reply to my email today and find the way forward in order for this to happen. This is a complaint about the Coricraft branch in Windhoek: I had asked friends and family to give me gift vouchers from Coricraft for my birthday in July because I wanted to buy a new couch. At that time they didn”t have gift vouchers, so they opened an account on my name. When the next person came to buy a gift voucher they opened a second account on my name! In September I went to the shop to order the couch, but they told me they could use only one account for the sales order. So the money had to be transferred from the second account to the first which was a big problem! I went to the shop every day for a whole week (!) to check if they had transferred the money, and finally they told me they had sorted the problem. They ordered the couch on one of the accounts, and I had to pay the remaining amount there and then. Two months later I was getting a bit worried because I didn”t hear from Coricraft, so I went to the shop to check when I would receive my couch. I was informed that it was in the warehouse for a while already, but they couldn”t deliver it because it was not paid! Now it turns out they were lying to me when I ordered it, and nothing was done! If I understood correctly the money that was supposed to be transferred from the second account has disappeared! This week I went to the shop twice already, and I spend my time writing emails to Coricraft. As if I don”t have anything else to do… Nothing has happened so far. They keep mailing me promises that they are “looking into the matter”. I am very unhappy with the service that I received from Coricraft so far, and I want to share my experience with other possible clients. I suggest you think twice before you buy from Coricraft.

The service I received from Coricraft is horrible and I would like management to investigate the matter. Firstly, I loved everything about Coricraft, however now I will think twice before I buy from them in the future. I placed my order online on the 26th of January 2018 after I saw the ad on Facebook for the Roxanne Bed + A FREE PRINCE MATTRESS. I followed the link given, and placed the order. I also clicked on the light grey colour, showing that the colour”s name is Berkeley Natural. After numerous calls, consultants giving me different advice about the date of the delivery, I received the faulty bed yesterday. The bed I received was white and the delivery staff told me that there was no mattress included in my order. Furthermore, just to complain further about the state of the bed – the threading of the bed is shocking! Now we as the customers need to do the “final checks” on the bed and cut off the threads. This is totally unacceptable. The consultant, Zanele came up with hundreds of excuses and made me out to be the one placing the incorrect order. She also stated that they will send a bed to me in the next week however I do not have a bed at this stage, as I arranged everything for the bed to be delivered on the 5th of March 2018. I cancelled my order today, just to again receive a call regarding the refund and that they require additional proof to show that I am the same person as the one listed on my ID and banking details. This is pathetic and the worst service ever.

Spent a fortune on a dining room suite, only to see the wood table base start developing mould. Requested replacement which arrived two months later only to find that the replacement base is in a worse and even more damaged condition than the original. Sent to Garth at Coricraft today: “Garth your guys have delivered a replacement table base that”s more damaged than the previous one. See images attached. This was noted on the delivery note and the delivery guys signed. Please arrange replacement ASAP or collect the glass and base and refund us so we can go buy a quality product elsewhere. “

Still awaiting a refund on my profile, [protected] The store at Kramerville is extremely slow and unhelpful. I have been there 3 times to have my refund processed, the first time the store was off line, refused to attempt to assist .I was told I can go to any store to have this processed . Now I have been to another store, to be told I Need to have this done at the store I did the purchase . Go back to the store, waited about 25 minutes to be told I can”t get the refund on the credit card, but needs to be done via EFT . Still no refund processed, Management extremely rude and not helpful or approachable at the store in Kramerville, It”s sad considering the purchases / value of business my self and my family have given to this Brand,

We purchased a Table and Chairs from Coricraft Greenstone Branch. We were promised that it would be delivered in 6 weeks within purchase. It”s now been 11 weeks and on the day that they”ve promised to deliver they”ve called and told us the tables damaged so they can”t deliver it and it”s gonna take another few weeks until they can get us another table. SHOCKING SERVICE!!! WILL DEFINITELY NOT SUGGEST THEM TO ANYONE ELSE! DON”T BOTHER BUYING FURNITURE THROUGH THEM!

We bought 2 couches. The one still looks perfect but the pillows of the and the cover looks as if is 5 years old (within 4 months of purchasing). I took the pillows to Rustenburg shop twice – with no response!!! The lady there send it to your offices twice!!! We always buy our couches at Coricraft but will think twice in future!!! The lady at the shop took photos and the couch is really not your usual quality.
