We made a large order for chicken pieces for our parents 50th anniversary. The order was placed two weeks in advance. We picked up the chicken at 4PM as scheduled. The chicken was cold and greasy. I don’t mean warm i mean cold. My brother went to called and they were able to provide us a large order in about 30 minutes and it was delicious. We went to Double Front because we knew the owner and founder-Gene Herndon. Gene was a great guy and ran a great operation. I hadn’t eaten there in years but someone told us the kid inherited the bussines-Lex Herndon. My husband called Lex and he said the order came out at 1030am as ordered. My husband told him that was BS and they ordered to pick up at 4PM and we wanted a full refund. This POS said not their problem. Never deal with a kid who inherits business. Are friend also told us he knew people who worked on the police department with Lex and he had a terrible reputation as a scammer and liar. Never got promoted. I tried to complain on YELP and they wouldn’t post. YELP is in a lot of trouble for not posting bad reviews and it’s all over the news so keep that in mind.
