Thank you for visiting my profile. I am a strong believer of a person’s abilities and not their disabilities. I believe that as “one door closes, another one opens.” I feel adept at helping individuals become motivated to take on challenges and to have a firmer belief in themselves and what they are capable of achieving. In addition to English, I am fluent in Spanish. I have extensive experience with all age groups, from 3 to 83, providing a diversity of therapeutic services over the years, but I am grounded in an existential/humanistic approach, giving individuals the rights to their choice of their path in life.I work with individuals facing depression, anxiety, provide vocational counseling, and EAP therapy. I also work with attention-deficit disorder, provide grief counseling, crisis interventions, and marital and couples therapy. I further have experience working with LGBT issues, acculturation/adjustment issues, and eating disorders.
