Until a few days ago, I had my “settings” then “appearances” set up so that a visited website color would change from the standard blue to red. This was extremely helpful. It needed to be reset from time to time, but that was not an issue for me. Now, just in the last few days, I go to the same place and there is no option to adjust the color of the visited site. This is less a complaint, but a plea for assistance. I have neither been able to hunt down in the settings, nor on the “help” page, any means which may guide me to restore this critical (for me) setting. I am requesting assistance as soon as possible, kindly. Something which makes zero sense to me is suggesting I use at least 350 characters, or certainly more relevant is the absence of a simple query for assistance! It’s a sizable misstep in my opinion.

META code can be placed on webpages which enable them to be indexed by search machine spiders, or not … such as META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW” I do NOT want Google to index my pages but I would like Duckduckgo to do so. Is there a META code that I can use to this end and if so would you send it to me. Many thanks

There is a very defamatory link to a false profile on mylife.com that comes up when I type my name. The link itself gives false information about me. I do not get the same results on google. I have deleted my profile on mylife.com yet the link still leads to a live page. Why is this link shown in duckduckgo but not google and what can I do to have it removed?

Their DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials Add-on in Firefox does not work correctly. The issues are: 1. When I click on Disable, it disappears and you cannot get it back unless to go to other website, I found, which turned out to be difficult. The Disable button works like the Remove button. 2. There appears to be no way to turn off DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials for individual websites, which is very poor! 3. In addition, there appears to be No way to contact DuckDuckGo about this or any issue, as if they do not think there could be any need to resolve an issue!

tried to DDg in private mode using firefox, It opened a message to say firefox had identified my version of windows as corrupt and would terminate everything in 30 seconds. It took me three days to sort out a similar crash last week. Have you been hacked or is my widows really corruped . According to microsoft it is ok. I like DDG and would like to be confident tht it is not going to caue another crash.

So I searched “womens rights in islam” and was immediately linked to a bunch of islamist apologia websites. Eight of the first ten pages listed. I was looking for an objective analysis, not a bunch of crap explain that women actually have it great in Islam and that all the evidence otherwise is just a bunch of evil islamaphobic propaganda. Now, I’m pretty hard-left myself and agree that Islam is incredibly misunderstood in the West, but the first page of results was filled with almost nothing but proselytization pages written by Muslim telling everyone that they should convert, it’s a problem.

when searching for USPS change of address the top listing is Postaddresschanges.com this site mimics the USPS address change site and charges $39.95 for the service the Postal service charges $1.05 for. When I called the number listed at the bottom of their site to cancel…I was told they have no record of me. They have, how ever dinged my credit card for $39.95 Clearly this is. a scam site

Even Google do it correctly !! Search is made of DuckDuckgo searc United States. There’s also in your image sears huge lack of relevant pictures, really often with no results at all !!

When I type in a search, the website gets loaded. Example, I just typed rediff money and the website got loaded. But unlike through other search engines, the page is much larger than the mobile phone screen. I have to scroll right and left and back again to read the information that I want. It”s very cumbersome and inconvenient to deal with this. I like duckduckgo, so I have taken the liberty to provide this feedback with a lot of hope that you guys are listening attentively

When I attempt a search for white couples I dont receive images of “white” couples, when I do a search of black couples I get very few “black” couples. When I alter search to man + woman white or black couple then it I get couples that are not man and woman nor are they “shade” specific. This is very annoying! I’m trying to complete a project and all I want is a variety of opposite sex “same shade” images. It’s weird that these images aren’t readily available.
