While the 800CharityCars web sites claims to rehabilitate cars to give to needy people they only do this with cars less than 10 years old and less than 100, 000 miles. These specific details are not discussed on the web site. I attempted to donate to perfectly good running 20 year old Subaru with 87, 000 miles and only after they towed it away did they tell me it would be auctioned off and I would not get fair market value. That was extremely misleading.
