Purchased tool I needed to cut out sheet rock. Receipt was sent via email. Used it once and turned it off. Went to turn back on and it wouldn”t start. Went to store in Ithaca and was asked for receipt. Looked on emails and couldn”t find it in my phone. Asked the cashier to look on her computer, which she did, and said she said she couldn”t find it. She couldn”t do exchange or refund without the receipt. Also said that the store computers only keep the receipts for 30 days but we have 90 days to exchange or refund. What the hell? 90 day policy is a joke if your receipts are sent email! Because of this, I will never purchase anything from Harbor freight again.
