I have 2 accounts with Hughes Network. I have an overdrawn checking account because they overcharged. Their response has been several different reasons and solutions. The bottom line is that they gave me credit one month and took it out of my account the next month. | I am a disabled 59 year woman who lives alone. I pride myself in paying my bills. I have been swindled out of 235.00. I had to borrow to cover my bank. I promised the date I had been given by hughes. They still have not recovered my losses. | I know I can not file a class action on them but something needs to be done. I make 856.00 a month and now because of Hughes; I am 300.00 in the Hole. Please I need Help. Life is too hard for Theives to make it worse. Thank you sincerely.

Hughes net told me that 20 G would be plenty for a small family and after two weeks I had nothing but there slow speed and down time. They said they tried to call but they gave me a new phone number so that also was a lie. Bottom line they suck really bad. Every day for two weeks I have written them and cant get a responce. They tell you you have beeen expidited to get your problems corrected and will be called by a Supervisor. Thats a Lie and no one has called. I have contacted them and told them if they auto deduct from my checking acct. I will sue them and no responce. The Tech I first talked to said unplug it at night to save gigs. I have Security and ill be damned if I will shut down at night. They just lie and lie . Take your money and they are done. They are the old Echo Star and they did the same. They are a total Rip off and I would advise anyone not to sign up because they say they want 620.00 to remove it and you have to do that yourself and send it back or get billed for the gear. So make sure you send it with written responce. They are going to screw you one way or the other. I have holes in my roof and plywood and my siding and a Tech sent me a Nasty email saying I wasnt getting nothing from them. Well its not over and I will end up sueing for damages and repairs they will fix one way or the other. So my friends stay away from this company unless you live on Mount Everest and have no choice. 14 Days in a row I have written thm and just now got another Survey from them and she said all my issues could be fixed in the Hughes discussion Group . Bull s**t.

I company came out for an install and asked my son to help put the dish on my house, I complained about the concern of asking my household for help. The company doenst listen and said they would give me moeny off my bill and never did. Also after less then a month of service speend was very slow. Called the company and ended up canceling the services, purchased the highest speed and i only was able to watch internet TV for 2 days of streaming 4 hours of TV..My son was not able to play the gaming with this service. They sales person said the speed would support my household and they service was good, not true at all. Horrible customer service, company went into my saving account and took the monthly bill out, without my permission.
