Judy Jacques has facilitated support groups for teens with anxiety and depression, and adult separation/divorce support groups. Her specialties include couples; eating disorders; sleep problems; trauma; blended families; self-esteem; job stress, ADD in children and adults; self-harm behaviors, depression; anxieties, including panic attacks and phobias; and alcohol dependence, substance abuse, and other addictions such as gambling, internet, and sex. Ms. Jacques enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families from ages 3-93.Ms. Jacques uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, solution-focused therapy, exposure therapy, mindfulness, and family systems therapy. She believes that clients come to therapy as a sign of courage and strength. She has a welcoming and calm demeanor, while always inserting humor into her sessions.
