Purchased a sofa in 2015 and was sold on the faux leather fabric because ours sales rep told us it was proven to hold up better than real leather. We were also told that should there ever be a problem there was a lifetime warranty. In less than 3 years the fabric started falling apart. It is just my husband and I, no pets, no children and we are senior citizens who are not home several months out of the year. I have spoken to several different people in customer service and they all say it is just normal wear and tear and they dont cover that. SO DONT BUY FROM KANES BECAUSE THEY ONLY EXPECT THEIR PRODUCTS TO LAST AROUND 3 YEARS NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU. I will never buy from them again and neither should you.

I bought a home theater entertainment group from Kanes furniture. Purchased an extended warranty on it. Said it would cover anything that would happen to it lifetime. Two of the pieces are peeling and cracking in the leather is pulling away from the fabric Call them and reported the problem. They came out and looked at the problem. Said the pieces were not made anymore. And only offered me $600 for all nine pieces. Said they would do nothing else and it wasn’t their problem. I paid $2200 for all the pieces. I agreed to $600 for the two pieces. They said no that there was nothing they could do for us.

I had a repairman come to our house yesterday 09/13/2016 and look at the kitchen chairs that were broken. | He concluded that the swivel plates on the bottom of two chairs were broken. | Today 09/14/2016 got an email from Kane Furniture, read it and called. Was told that it was not covered. | What a bunch of crap!!!! | We also purchsed bonded leather living room set and that is peeling like crazy and would not do anything but give | us a store credit of $900 and then take the furniture away when they came to deliver the replacement furnitre. | Still owe money and they want to give store creddit. Bullcrap!!!!!! | They are not standing behind there so called “LIFETIME GUARANTEES”.

Well back in 2008 we purchased a sectional from Kane”s on Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando. We were duped into buying a worthless “lifetime Warranty” by Barbara our saleswoman. She should have been wearing a mask the way she robbed us. The sectional was repaired twice, (they conveniently lost one repair report) and we are waiting for a third repair to the recliner mechanisms (3 total) . Im doubtful they will ever return to repair it. The repairman came out and told me “ya they”re broken” took pictures and left ! never even attempted to fix it !! He said they would look at the pictures and tell me if it was broken, lol. I said you just told me it was, he shrugged and left. He also took pictures of the plastic between the sections that was peeling, they called us a week later and told my wife “that”s normal wear and tear” . On a 4 year old set that cost over $3800 ! that is ridiculous. They said the warranty I paid an extra $200 for (which only states “lifetime warranty” on the receipt) only covers stains. That isn”t what Barbara told us I explained to the GM of Kane”s, he got arrogant and said “well that”s what it is” They refuse to honor a five year defect warranty for the fabric used as well. You would get better furniture in a building fire than what you get at Kane”s. The stuff they sell is worthless junk that falls apart in a few short years. Their warranties are not worth the paper they are written on either. Don”t expect any help from C.S. at their H.q. either, Christine the “manager” of C.S. is a bulls**tter and will go on and on about how YOU broke the furniture and “that isnt covered and this isnt covered. Well then what is covered ? Warning …DONT BUY AT KANES you will regret ever day you own it.

This began a year ago when I requested a repair for my sectional. After 6 months of waiting for parts to come in, the store manager called me and agreed to give me a store credit because the furniture was discontinued and they were unable to get replacement parts. The sectional, which became painful to sit on, had been in storage for waiting for repair. I purchased a replacement through a competitor so I did not have an immediate need to replace the original. I was never told to continue to store this non-repairable furniture so I gave it away to a needy family. This past week I decided to use my credit for another bedroom set. After spending time with my wonderful sales rep I was told at the customer service desk that they will need the furniture back. When I told them I gave it away to a needy family they were adamant that I get it back or that was just too bad. They also got noticeably upset with me for being upset. I would have gladly returned it had I known. I had no use for it. I feel like I”ve been given every excuse not to repair or replace this furniture.

They are the biggest cheats in the furniture world. I spent a substantial sum of money and bought a bedroom set from them and within 14 months, the nightstand starts swelling and the drawer would not open/close. I called them and got zero customer service. Finally spoke to the GM, Kevin Gottwald, who said that he could not do anything about it and more or less walked away from the table. He said this is a private company and I could not talk to anyone above him as the owner had empowered him to act on the policies of the company. Very bad quality and zero customer service. Do not buy anything from these people.

The item was purchased on 11/18/2019. The customer code is [protected]. Sales order number [protected]. I wanted a twin or full size sofa bed or sleeper. The salesman wanted a sale desperately. Today 11/19/2019 it was delivered by some moving company. The movers (1american moving llc 813 374-5643) delivered this huge queen sofa with a pump up mattress which we did not want. They further stated that Kanes does this all the time. Sells floor furniture so it cannot be sent back and then sues their customers. This sofa bed could go through the front door of our home. It had to be carried around the rear and brought in through the lanai entry and sliding door to the living room. The movers then tried to get it into the bedroom and it could not fit through the entrance. In fact we tried to use an alternate bedroom but it could not fit into any of them. The movers collected $120 delivery fee and noted the receipt (sleeper did not go in room as intended) and left the huge thing on its side in our living room. We are sick over this. A resolution to this would be a refund or exchange. …Ivanhoe and Barbara Bryan [protected], Riverview Fl. [protected] or [protected].

Sealy PP Mattress has over 1″ recess in body and approx.2″ deep circle approx. 10″ round in center. Three yrs. into 10 yr. warranty. Kanes sent rep, called back to let us know it is within specs and nothing they can/will do. They do NOT back up their products and will do everything they can to blame it on their supplier. Obviously long standing policy. Do NOT buy from Kanes if you expect quality or service after sale.

Purchased several bedroom suits and other furniture in early Feb. 08. A cocktail table and one headboard was never delivered as promised. Contacted Savon and was told it was back ordered but would be delivered in May. Never showed up. Contacted again and requested a refund in May, was told it would take 7-10 days. Refund never arrived. Spoke to them today and was told they can not issue a refund in store but would re-submit the request for a refund to corporate. Going on the 6th month without the furniture and still no refund, extremely rude to me even though it is their screw up!
