Aided by her warmth and authenticity, Dr. KC Charette creates an environment where patients feel supported to share their experiences. She has years of experience in working with patients who have experienced a major life change, trauma, grief and/or loss and are experiencing adjustment difficulties, anxiety, and/or depression. She provides treatment for a range of psychological, relational and behavioral health concerns in individual treatment, as well as in couples therapy. She is genuine and warm and clients are empowered to navigate their experiences through therapy. She has specialized experience in helping patients adjust to infertility, pregnancy, and parenthood.Dr. Charette earned her Master’s and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology. The American Psychological Association is the highest level of accreditation for training in psychology and she attended an APA-accredited graduate school, internship and was then selected for an additional, APA-accredited residency in trauma, anxiety and PTSD.In addition to being part of The Center for Treatment of Anxiety & Mood Disorders, she has provided clinical training, supervision, and consultation to Doctoral Interns & Doctoral Residents in multiple APA-accredited training programs. Dr. Charette is licensed in Florida.
