I specialize in providing services to clients who struggle with depression, anxiety and relationship issues. My interest in nutrition influences my understanding of mental health, as I recognize the importance of physical health and its effects on one’s thoughts and emotions. I have studied the gut-brain connection extensively and believe that achieving balance in one’s microbiome can lead to tremendous improvements in overall emotional and mental wellness.I am formally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and use my knowledge of DBT to provide practical life skills to my clients in the areas of mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness.
