After listing my car on Cars.com, I received a text that this person was interested in buying my car unseen for his father. He wanted to use PayPal, which I have. I instructed him how I wanted the money transferred to my account and told him that it would have to clear my bank before I would deliver the car to his transfer agent. What I got was an email from a company saying it was PayPal. It said the transfer was done but I had to go to Western Union Money Transfer and pay them $650.00 and have it sent to his transfer agent. The transfer agent name is David Wooten located in Wasilla, Alaska 99654. It also said the car would have to be in transit before I would get the payment for the car and the $650 that was sent to this David Wooten. Obviously I never got the money in my PayPal account as promise and I was not going to pay $650.00 to a person I do not know and then expect to be paid in full after the car is gone! Please help me get rid of this scam and the people who run it. I also was threaten by this guy that he was going to report me to the FBI.
Also, I have received three other request using the same buying it for their father and want to use PayPal, but I stopped all of them before they got to the next step.. I demand Get rid of these people who do these scams!!. I don’t recommend them
