Product:Refrigeration Model:KRFC704FSS00 Serial:K65025141 We are very disappointed with this Kitchen Aid Refrigerator. The inconvenience that this give us not to mention that my son had a food poisoning as we did not realize that fridge was not working and fed him with a meat that was cooked a night before. Noise coming from Refrigerator area and not cooling. We had same problem in Mar 2017 and you guys ended up replacing the fan assembly that is in the refrigerator area at the back as ice was building up and causing the fan to be noisy. Special Instructions: My fridge delivery date was Dec 20, 2016. I had ordered and waited 2 to 3 months for shipment as this new model was not available yet in Canada. We are told that they cannot replace as it is not covered by the warranty. We are requesting that this fridge should be replaced..

We purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher and it was installed in July ’08. The rack tines were never well covered when installed. When we first tried to start the dishwasher, it would not start. Kitchenaid had to replace the motherboard before we could start it. Now the racks, including the glass and cupholder racks which came with it are rusted out. Kitchenaid has a warranty on the racks from year two through five written in their “Dishwasher User Instructions” which came with the dishwasher. After two months of waiting, we finally received the replaced upper and lower racks, but not the glass and cupholder racks which are a part of the racks and made out of the same material. They are charging me $116.23 for the glass and cupholder racks, saying that these racks are not included in the warranty. You might want to think twice prior to buying a Kitchenaid appliance. We have a Kitchenaid refrigerator purchased at the same time as the dishwasher, and we had multiple service calls in the first year. These are expensive appliances, but we have found them to be lacking in quality.

Should have done this year’s ago. After our home burned down we replaced our 2 oven Kitchenaid Range with a 1 oven one. The controls got EXTREMELY HOT when oven is on. Cannot touch! I called and has the door replaced a year or so ago, thinking it was a faulty seal! Nope! Same problem. The adhesive on the dial facing melted off..have to guess on flame temp. On stove. Why did you all let this happen..not check it out! Now we have to buy a New range so I CAN cook!!

This oven is not something I would be proud of, if I were the President of KitchenAid. Just after the warranty ran out, the oven exhaust fan died on us, shutting down the oven, broiler and timers. Impact Appliances ordered a new exhaust fan and a week later tried to repair the oven. This exhaust fan, though the original part number, now had a different connector. No one was told that there was a change in the connector. After waiting another week the correct part finally showed up and Impact replaced the fan. Soon after the oven would not light, it wanted to, but the valve (W10554066 Valve, Regulator) would not stay open and allow it to ignite. We ordered a part, and the gal at KitchenAid said she would send the part at no charge. It did not show up for a couple of weeks. In the mean time I had called to see where the part was and some gentleman could not figure out where it was, so he sent me a new one. I got the new part and soon after the original part showed up too. Two weeks late! My repair man installed one and the oven still did not work. Then he installed the second one and it did not work either. These valves are made by Invensys which is not Allied Electric in Lake Forest. I use to call on Allied and to my experience they never did make what I would call quality products. So now, two months have gone by and my wife has a range that cost us over $2, 000 dollars and it still does not work. I was contacted by these people to see if I would be willing to make a video complaining about my KitchenAid oven (www.pissedconsumer.com/). I told them at the time that I did not want to do that yet, that I preferred to work with the factory if I could. I”m getting close to calling them back. I personally would like to know if KitchenAid would be willing to prorate this on a new oven. I”d also like to talk to a regional manager or factory rep.

Purchased KitchenAid countertop oven model # KCO111CU on 4/3/11 from Bed, Bath, Beyond for $80. The unit failed with only light use 17 months later. Warranty is 12 month. Contacted customer service. Was told these units cannot be repaired and they would not provide a replace due to warranty expiration. They also would not provide a discount on a replacement unit. I did not expect a replacemet however good and smart customer service would have ben a discount on a replacement. As a result I will not be purchasing any KitchenAid products in the future.

Purchased an extended warranty for my KitchenAid KUDP02IRBT0. The unit was purchased new in Feb. 2007. One year and 3 months later, the unit stopped cleaning dishes and soap remained in the dishwasher undesolved. Ten repairs later by three different authorized repairmen (changed motor, circuit board, water fill valve, water fill shut-off, and many other parts) the unit still does not desolve the soap. I tried liquid soap, powder soap, tablets. The water temperature is over 150 degrees. The water is run before the dishwasher is started and smoke comes out of the faucet. Now, over 10 months later still no resolution. I want to exercise the lemon law but apparently the same part must fail three times! Nobody is able to fit it and I am without a washer. I will be taking them to small claims unless they resolve and will also be informing the AG Office and Missouri’s epartment of Insurance, Financial, and Professional Registration. I will never buy another KitchenAid or Whirlpool.

With all 4 burners in use, stovetop suddenly burst into a major fire. After quelling with an extinguisher, we were left with melted and charred rear control knobs which are fused in place and cannot be removed or rotated. Additionally, there is fire damage to the overlying cabinets. Unsafe and frankly life threatening, had we not been immediately present, we would likely be faced with a house of ashes as well. Attached are photos of remaining damage after cleanup.

To whom this may concern, I purchased a KitchenAid BBQ cover in summer of 2017 and not met up to my expectations. It is just over a year old and has several rips due to the vinyl drying out due to the Sun. Many are located where the seam meets. I bought this cover as I liked the look of it and it was fairly expensive which I thought would last over many years. I am now looking at getting another cover however, I wanted to reach out to KitchenAid to see what can be done before hand. The cover costed me roughly $80 taxes in. Again, I had many choices to choose from however, I decided on this cover because I thought a higher price one would exceed my expectations and last for many years as apposed to a cheaper one which perhaps wouldn”t. I”m asking KitchenAid to replace my BBQ cover and stand by their products.

We purchased a new house in 2004 that was outfitted with brand new Kitchen Aid appliances. Fortunately, we purchased the extended warrantee for all. We have had nothing but problems with ALL of the appliances–electric cooktop, overhead microwave, dishwasher and the dreaded side by side re-defrigerator/re-defreezer which is the chief cause of this complaint. The cooktop and the microwave have both required parts not covered under warrantee more than once. The dishwasher was non-operational from the start and had to be replaced after some wrangling with the service provider. The side by side fridge freezer takes the prize, though, for worst appliance. Little did we know that it’s stainless steel exterior with Kitchen Aid tag was covering a relic from the Soviet Union. The ice maker has never worked properly. Over the course of our 5 year extended warrantee, we had a service rep out multiple times with multiple “fixes”, and even after the whole ice maker was replaced with a new unit, it failed to work properly. The temperature in the fridge is not moderated properly and can freeze with no manual change to the temperature setting. Now, we are faced with paying for a new compressor. No doubt, this component was engineered to last just over 5 years. If so, then it would be the only properly engineered part of the appliance. Kitchen Aid/Whirlpool, shame on you. This is not your parent’s trusted appliance maker.

Started receiving error code F8E0 and the oven would shut off completely. Called KitchenAid and received the name of a certified repair company. They immediately said “its the fan” and replaced the fan. First time I tried to use the stove, same problem. Called them to come back out and they told me since the town had experienced a wind related power outage, it must be the control panel. Really? So every power outage I experience is going to cost me $800 to fix the fan and the control panel? Now I see other KitchenAid owners are experiencing similar issues. Three years and it looks like I”ll need a new stove. Very disappointing! Lynn R. NH

Purchased range 5 years ago from Kitchenaid. Have had the control panel to work the oven, 3 times. 6 months ago 2 of the burners stopped working and now the control panel is out again. After 5 years and multiple service calls, only 2 burners left on the range…it will cost almost as much to fix or just get a new one…have had other ranges, that have lasted over 15 years…Kithenaid will do nothing…their customer service is unconcerning. Don’t need to do business with a company that makes inferior products, but spends alot of $$ on marketing only to not stand by their poor quality.

Sale Order # 0303901SBUK. Hi I Purchase $12, 000 dollars in appliances and sofa”s and my hood fan that I paid nearly $2, 000 is all scratched. The delivery guys delivered it on May 24th but Leans couldn”t make arrangement on time to have it installed until June 3rd. Anyhow the installer came and removed it from the box and installed it. I went to windex it clean and noticed it is all scratch up everywhere and the finished exterior ducting is all warped. Now it”s a hood fan and we don”t live on hood fans so I believe I received a damaged product and your installer installed it without calling me to notify me of the damaged. I want a replacement hood fan to be reinstalled. Here are some photo”s for you to see. Please call my Wife Yulia to make arrangements at [protected] or Vince at [protected]. Sincerely Vincent Petrasso
