Client Services, Inc. is the collections agency that Citibank uses after their collections attempts have failed. My secondary complaint is in regard to the associates’ behavior. Two different male associates were rude, angry, and accused me of fraud. The one female associate that called me next used the “female to female” strategy, and was condescending. At the brink of bankruptcy, one associate told me, “Just do it, then, stop wasting my time!!!” I am actually grateful for this extremely negative experience because it forced me to make a choice about declaring bankruptcy, which I decided not to. My main complaint is actually in relation to their promises to work with me to charge off my debt. “Just pay it down over time, then we will give you another offer.” Seven months from my first payment to them, they have instead decided to renege on their offer and instead, have me make payments to them for the next few years.
