Abuse or neglect , workplace problems, pregnancy / parenting, aging, relationships, discrimination, life transitions, addiction or other experiences can cause feelings of anxiety, depression, hopelessness, stress, low self esteem, loneliness and isolation. Most people heal and recover from these feelings when they feel heard, validated and empowered. In therapy I use a collaborative, supportive approach to help you manage, cope and recover from painful issues so that you can find more satisfaction and joy in your life.Psychic wounds from trauma can cause depression, anxiety , addiction and self sabotaging behavior. This affects relationships, work and how you feel in the world. I draw on psychodynamic, cognitive and somatic models such as EMDR.. I understand the impact of various forms of oppression in my work with diverse clients.I offer hypnotherapy for confidence, stress relief or building self esteem .In addition to trauma, I also work with young and older professionals with career issues, artists, individuals in life transitions, LGBTQ, conception/pregnancy and relationship issues. I also offer remote/online sessions.
