I work with infants, children and adults with mental health issues. My approach is holistic in nature as I look at the biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of my clients in order to gain a complete understanding of the presenting problem. Childhood trauma, addiction and other mental health issues impact every aspect of one’s life. During difficult times it is often helpful to learn of alternative ways to cope with stress and to gain a different perspective and understanding of the issue at hand. Accepting that we need help is a big step and can make a huge difference in one’s life and those that surround us.I work with infants, children and adults with a history of complex trauma including child sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect and attachment issues. I also have experience with kids with behavioral issues. I’m trained in Infant Mental Health, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Adoption Competency, TBRI and the role brain rehabilitation plays in mental health. If you are struggling with your own mental health issues and/or of those you love, taking the difficult first step to reach out for help may be life changing. Life is challenging and learning how to ride the waves that we encounter can be of benefit not only to ourselves but to those that we love.
