Purchased Lyca Mobile SIM card with internet package at a store, was informed to pay 15 euros for 1GB internet, although it was clearly stated on the brochure that it would only be 7 euros. Vendor poorly explained the reason for this. However as my friends & I badly needed internet to find directions, I purchased it anyway. Was given a SIM, and two 5 euro top up cards. Apparently internet needed activating, and was asked to dial a number, with instructions only in Italian. Dialled the number and nothing happened. Received a message which was all in Italian. Called customer service to make sure my 1GB was activated, as I had no 3G. Customer service was friendly, but kept talking over me. Explained that I needed my internet activated, and he walked me through setting it up on my phone. He even asked me to turn on data roaming, which I KNOW is not required for 3G. However he explained that it was required because Lyca Mobile reaps off the benefits of other networks. Internet worked but later did not work that night, but after topping up another 5 euros and TURNING OFF data roaming, managed to work. Figured it was just a network problem. Next day, internet did not work again and called customer service. They said that I had been surfing the internet using my top up credit and NOT my 1GB internet bundle. Explained that I had called the day before and was told that all was good with my internet. Service on the phone told me that I could only use the internet after I topped up ANOTHER 10 euros. At that point I had had enough and did not even bother topping up. Will NEVER use this service again, even in desperate times. Totally unreliable, look for another better network, especially if local and more reliable.

What a slapdash attitude they give. I recently had some issues with my sim-card activation. Instead of doing their job properly they were mean and ignorant to me, didn”t carefully listen to me because they asked stupid kuestions (if they listened to me, they wouldn”t ask). They probably realized they couldn”t help me they just hung up on me. I called again, but no one had picked up. That”s about it. Going to switch to a different service where I will be more appreciated.

This is a fraud company which cheat the customers by saving the credit card details in their server and charging it without the customer knowledge. Their customer service never respond to the mail. There are lots of people complained already about this fraud but still they are doing it. How can in a developed country like France, this company is doing this scam?? Why there is no legal action against these fraud company. I called their customer service number and after arguing for several minutes they agreed to refund the money in 48 hours but even after 1 week I didn’t receive the money.

This company is a fraud. They allure to switch by giving 20gb data and unlimited national and international calls valid for 28 days. Once 28 days completed you can auto renew your bundle but you can auto top up with a set amount. The standard phone call rates kicks in and they won”t tell the rates and keeps on skinning you. Customer service is very poor and have no sense of customer satisfaction

They are so WORST service providers, very CHEAP and RUDE. I must say they are CHEATERS too. I purchased new sim from lyca few days back. its been so long time, they have not yet activated my sim yet. They are not ready to refund my money also. They are the FRAUDS. I DON’T RECOMMEND LYCA TO ANYONE. Please don’t go for these worst people service. They simply cheat you by eating your money and time. They might have eaten many people money in this way, that’s why they might be giving service for less price. YOU WILL NOT GET ANY SOLUTION FOR YOUR ISSUE FROM THESE FRAUDS. STAY AWAY from them

They are so arrogant. It is a company designed to rip you off and give you no service!! No matter how much you explain, no matter how right you are, they will never correct their mistakes!! You need a lawsuit to recover even a ten pound they rip you off.. they never reconcile!! I had got the following complaints: 1.lyca kept increasing my plan charge and reducing my internet allowance. By 68 per cent! 2. Increased the cost of my UK17 plan from to 25 pounds this month. 3.Last night was my renewal date, they kept sending me messages to keep my account balance sufficient. therefore I had 25 pounds ready in my account at midnight on the 18th. in the morning I wake up, they sent me a message that my plan could not be renewed due to insufficient balance!!! And I check my balance, there is only 15 pound left .AS I was sleeping and the phone was OFF! how did anyone take ten pounds from my account! It looks like this is a set up for a rip-off! They never gave me back my allowance. . 4. I was not able to use the internet properly to use my mobile facebook application for the past month, and I have sent several emails to your technical department and NO ACTION was taken, it was not resolved. I have proof of emails from your technical department. I have used up the 10 pounds and purchased the only plan available with my balance to use it up so that next month I can cancel. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Recently, I found that Lyca mobile was making unauthorised deductions from bank account of my daughter – renewing a bundle, though autofill option was never filled. When I complained (on 6th December), there was no reply for a long time. Fed-up, we complaint to the bank who will be recovering the money deducted by Lyca, and advised us to change the debit card so that Lyca may not be able to make any further deduction. Then, after several days, on 20th December 2016, I received a mail from Lyca asking for a copy of bank statement and an image of the credit card showing the first 6 and last 4 digits of the credit card number. By this time, I was on vacation and on 2nd January 2017 provided the information, giving only last four digit of the credit card number. As company is indulging in unethical practice, amounting to fraud, I can not trust them to give full information about the card. So far, no reply from them. Next, I found that they repeated the unauthorized deduction (for a bundle, for which there was no autofill option given) on my another Lyca number. Since bundle was bought first time using my wife’s debit card, deduction was made using her card. I complained on 2nd January and there was no reply. I sent a reminder on 5th January with warning that I am going to complain to the bank.Finally they they replied that bundles are automatically renewed after 30 days, though it is not evident when you buy a bundle. They told me to dial *190# and follow the instructions on the screen to cancel the automatic renewal of the bundle. But when I tried that a tab popped up for Autorenewal Option. It clearly indicated, there was no autorenewal but they were still deducting. I wrote to them again asking for cancellation of autorenewal, but no reply. Then on 13th January, they again deducted money despite all this communication with them. It happened in case of two sims with me. In one case I complained to the bank and credit card had to be changed. In the second I am shifting from Lycamobile to another company but not sure this con company may still deduct money and in this case also credit card may have to be changed. I am complaining to bank and VISA also. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Recently i have switched my service to lyca mobile, initialy they tempted everyone by providing them lesser call rate than any other service.Now they are showing their way of income. i) They auto deduct from your card if you recharge your account online. ii) They deduct balance from your automatically and slowly without informing you. iii) A pathetic customer service. I suggest everyone not to go by rate go by quality and loyalty of the product and company.

Well how can I start sent them numerious emails staff are mentally unable to do the job, they cant understand you at the call centre in india, spent 4 days trying to sort the problem out and still not able too managed to hack into there site in london to get there united kingdom number which is [protected] so now people bombard them there cause in india they dont have a clue in proccess off taking this matter further i am totally infuriated with lycamobile that i utterly despice everything they stand for,

recieved a call from an international number claiming that they are calling from lyca mobile in London. The caller stated that my lyca number had won a cash prize. I made him aware that it was a scam and that is when he started to become abusive and saying inappropriate things. I rang lyca mobile customer service and they are saying that they will do nothing about it . I will take this further.
