I am a bilingual English/Spanish LCSW therapist. My experience has allowed me to work with children, adults, and families in order to help them reach their full potential. I consider myself an eclectic therapist where I am able to draw upon different treatment modalities in order to help my clients achieve their goals. I’m a team player and feel that when working with clients its important for the person to be a part of the treatment plan so they feel at ease with the process.I have worked with children in their home and school setting where we have focused on behavioral and academic issues. I’ve coached parents giving them alternative methods of intervention for long-lasting improvements. I have worked with teachers to bridge communication with parents and to help the child/adolescent improve in the school setting.I also enjoy working with adults that are dealing with life transition issues, anxiety, and depression. We work together to develop coping skills in order to improve daily living. I also prepare student interns for the LCSW exam. We work through testing anxiety and develop a plan of action for the day of the exam.
